In 2011, key management staff from the Homeland Security and Infrastructure Protection Division of ABM Industries, left the company to found Threat Reduction Solutions. Threat Reduction was formed by personnel possessing extensive special operations, intelligence, law enforcement and commercial security experience across diverse security disciplines. Threat Reduction's first major client was a Class 1 railroad company with over 20,000 miles of track. Through the utilization of specialized capabilities and adoption of the client's mission as our critical requirements, we executed security assessments, red team exercises, foreign threat intelligence briefings, security design projects and other critical services for the client. Recognized return on investment and client satisfaction allowed us to build other long lasting relationships, invest in technology and additional capabilities and refine our effective service and delivery model. Today Threat Reduction has a composite of Fortune 500 and Federal , State and Local government clients. We provide a range of advanced security solutions on behalf of our clients around the world using the latest technology, applying leading methodologies and adhering to globally accepted standards.

Threat Reduction Gains New Simulation and War Gaming Capability
April 5, 2016 - Threat Reduction has gained approval and training for access to the Oak Ridge National Laboratory application called IMPACT. IMPACT combines simulation, visualization and mapping into one interface, allowing users to simulate explosive attacks, armed assault, emergency evacuation and other hazardous situations. Threat Reduction will integrate this capability with existing technology for enhanced training and table top exercises.
Threat Reduction Providing USAREUR/IMCOM with Mapping Services
January 15, 2016 - Threat Reduction has been enlisted by U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR) to provide mapping services in support of force protection programs across Europe. The services will allow USAREUR to enhance it's common operating picture regarding emerging and enduring threats to U.S. service members and their dependents in Europe.
Threat Reduction Joins the OSAC African Regional Committee
October 14, 2015 - Threat Reduction has joined the Overseas Security Advisory Committee (OSAC) Africa Regional Committee. Membership will provide Threat Reduction with access to local intelligence and information sharing among U.S. companies operating on the continent. Threat Reduction will also utilize membership to build relationships with Embassy Regional Security Officers for access to emerging threat intelligence.
Threat Reduction Launches Proprietary Software to Assess Route Vulnerabilities
September 28, 2015 - Threat Reduction has launched a proprietary software application called ROVER (Route Observation and Vulnerability Evaluation Reporting) to be used by their security experts in the field. ROVER will allow users to lock-in locations in civilian and military coordinate formats, capture local vulnerabilities to a range of hostile actions, calculate vulnerability scoring and index comments, photographs and other observations. ROVER will be used to support existing and future client projects.
